Quartz aggregate plaster is a more recent kind of pool finish which adds durability and color to your pool's interior. It is formulated from a mixture of white Portland cement and quartz, one of the world's hardest minerals, heat-bonded with a ceramic color coating. Quartz aggregate plaster is much harder than regular marble-dust pool plaster. The finish is non-porous and stain-resistant, making it more durable and long-lasting.
COLOR is another main component in choosing quartz aggregate for your pool's interior. Because the quartz aggregate comes in a wide variety of vivid and beautiful colors, they can be mixed to create any "watercolor" you'd like in your pool.
Quartz costs more than traditional plaster, but you can expect a new quartz surface to give you 10-15 years of good service with proper care.
