Fall is a Great Time for Pool Renovations

describe the imageIs it time to renovate your pool or spa? Whether it’s a new plaster surface, tile, coping or deck repairs, the best time to renew your pool is when you’re not using it.  Many pool owners plan their renovations for the Spring months, but Fall is a great time to renovate your pool too.

Those broken tiles, that scratchy place on the surface of the pool wall, the crack in the deck, the shaky safety rail … why not get them fixed when you have plenty of time to find the best pool renovation contractor in your area, and get your project scheduled at your convenience, not theirs.

Spring is always the busiest time of year for pool plaster contractors because that’s when everyone else is planning their renovations. For pool contractors, Spring schedules are tight, jobs are lined up back to back, crews are busy.  It can be difficult to get someone out to assess your pool.

But in the Fall and even the Winter months, pool companies have much more time. As long as the temperature remains above freezing (which is often the case in the Southeast) and it’s not too windy, an outdoor pool or spa can safely be replastered and other repairs can easily be made.  If a pool is surrounded by trees with falling leaves, it’s best to wait until most of them have fallen.

Fall renovations can mean saving money, too! Don’t be afraid to ask for a discount during the slower months of autumn … many pool renovation companies offer a savings of 10% or more.

Nice thoughts! Fall may really give an opportunity for great discounts as it's contractor's off season. Thanks for sharing!
